Altogether, 26 indicators were used to measure the above criteria.

Institutions had to fill in a detailed questionnaire. Answers provided detailed information on the students, the teaching staff, the structure and scope of the program. The alumni satisfaction has been considered one of the principal characteristics of a good program. Alumni were asked to assess their program and describe it’s influence on their career. The survey was conducted by the Perspektywy Education Foundation on a group of 388 alumni who graduated in 2014 and 2015 (the respondent rate was 44,1%). Each institution could provide no more than 15 names of their alumni.

The employers’ preference was measured in a survey commissioned by the Perspektywy Foundation and conducted by the INDICATOR Center for Marketing Research among a representative group of directors and HR managers in 450 enterprises in Poland.
